TAM hosted our 2025 General Meeting once again at Turf Valley hotel, located at 2700 Turf Valley Road in Ellicott City, MD 21042. This meeting featured networking opportunities with transit professionals, an update on TAM's activities from our directors, and elections to our board of directors. We hosted a workshop self-swareness for Transit Leaders, presented by Dan Mulraney. KFH gave a presentation on comprehensive review updates, presented by Sue Knapp and Dan Dalton. A light breakfast and lunch was provided to all attendees.

 

Board Elections

 

Elections to our Board of Directors were held, and the following results were returned:

 

At-Large Directors: Ryan Mayers, RTA of Central Maryland, Sharon Smith, Partners in Care, and Steve Palmer, Queen Anne's County.

New Board Member

 

Ryan Mayers from RTA of Central Maryland joins the TAM Board.  Ryan is a strategic transit leader with 10+ years across federal, state, and local levels, delivering equity-focused mobility solutions. He has been with RTA since 2023, and has previously worked in the Federal Transit Administration and the City of Greenville's area transit system. He was part of the team that won the 2024 TAM Innovation Award for RTA's GTFS Integration for accessible automated voice announcements. We welcome him to the TAM team!

Deanna Archey, at-large director from Montgomery County leaves our Board after six years of dedicated service. She has served as our Nominations chair and Awards chair for many years, in addition to her many contributions behind the scenes. Her efforts for our association are known, appreciated, and she will be missed on our Board!
